Most acupuncturists see one patient per hour and charge anywhere from $50-$175 per session. We don’t. Community acupuncturists see patients in a group setting, a practice that aligns with acupuncture traditions across the world. We treat multiple patients per hour, each in their own comfortable recliner. This allows us to charge on a sliding scale, making acupuncture accessible for many more people, while allowing us to make a decent living.

The soothing atmosphere in our clinic exists because all of our patients create it by relaxing together. We appreciate everyone’s presence! This kind of collective stillness is a rare and precious thing in our rushed and busy society. Patients frequently comment that the group setting is comforting, and often return for treatment with their friends and family.

Guelph Community Acupuncture is a proud member of The People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), which is a multi-stakeholder cooperative dedicated to making community acupuncture as widely available as possible.
